The Junior Police Academy is a one week summer program designed for children (ages 9-12). Through classroom discussions, student activities and cadet handouts, the students will develop a deeper appreciation of law enforcement, while opening the door to better communication between officers and students. 

This is a one week program to:

• Expose teens to the operations of the Jupiter Police Department, meet and get to know the people behind the Badge. 
• Tour the Police facility
• Learn K-9 behavior and see a demonstration

Junior Police academy is designed change the way young people perceive law enforcement in America! From SRO’s to FBI Agents, your students will discover the vital role law enforcement plays in securing the safety of all our citizens.  Children (ages 9-12) from Jupiter (surrounding communities based on available space) who have not been convicted of a felony are eligible to attend.

There is no cost to participate!
Class includes a notebook, inserts, and certificate of completion.
