The Town of Jupiter Recreation Division employs approximately 40 seasonal employees to staff it's Youth Camp, Teen Camp, and School's Out Camps. These rewarding and challenging positions are a great summer employment opportunity for local college students, after-care counselors, teachers and other child-care professionals.
2012 RETURNING COUNSELORS:

Priority is given to returning counselors prior to offering positions to new employees. Counselors who were employed and in good standing during 2011 summer camps and are interested in returning for employment with the 2012 camps should contact
Kristin George or
Julie Wark by no later than Friday, March 2, 2012. Re-employment cannot be guaranteed after this date and keep in mind that all employment (returning and new counselors) is contingent upon successful completion of a drug test and background check. Returning counselors must complete a new application for 2012 by Friday, March 30 in order to be eligible for re-hire.

New candidates whose applications meet the minimum job requirements that are selected for interviews will be contacted starting late March 2012. All employment candidates must be at least 18 years of age and graduated from high school to be considered. Please note that both returning and new counselors must be available to work the entire duration of which ever camp you are applying for. Counselor Orientation is MANDATORY for all counselors and will take place over 2 days. Therefore, if you plan to accept an employment opportunity with the Town's Summer Camp programs, DO NOT make travel plans during the summer camp dates listed below:
