The Jupiter Community Center has a spacious kitchen that is available for use by all categories. Applicants must indicate if the kitchen will be needed when the request application is submitted. A $100 kitchen fee will apply to all categories to use the kitchen. This will provide total access to the kitchen and appliances.
Categories 1 - 3 are exempt from having a professional caterer however will still be responsible for equipment and clean up.
In rental Categories 4 and 5, if you are requesting the use of the kitchen, a professional caterer is required. This caterer must be an approved caterer in good standing with the Town of Jupiter Parks and Recreation Department or they will not be granted access to the facility.
A separate meeting between the caterer and the Community Center Supervisor or his/her designee will be required at least 14 business days prior to the event.
The catering company will be responsible for leaving the facility as they found it.
The caterer will be expected to clean the kitchen. Counter tops and stove should be left clean, garbage removed as well as all equipment, plates, silverware, table cloths, etc.
The catering company must show proof of proper insurance and a Town of Jupiter occupational license prior to the event. Out of Town caterers must have a business registration.
The
caterer must complete this form for each catering job that will be held
at the Community Center. It must be signed and submitted along with
other required documentation, at least two weeks prior to the event
date.
**Under
the Town of Jupiter Community Center Rental Policies the caterer is not
permitted to contract with the Lessee to serve alcohol.**
Catering Requirements For Approval: - A completed CATERING REGISTRATION FORM
- Copy of business insurance policy/workman's comp
- Copy of a current Town of Jupiter occupational license
Deductions will occur if:- the kitchen is not left clean
- if there is any damage to the kitchen and/or equipment
It
is highly recommended that the caterer you wish to use, register before
paying them any catering deposits to be sure they meet all of the
Town’s requirements. Alcohol The
caterer will not be permitted to serve alcohol. A third party will be
required and it is the sole responsibility of the person renting the
