- Increased the refundable Civic Center Security Deposit from $250 to $400.
Over the past year more and more parties have disregarded their cleaning responsibilities at the Civic Center therefore,
the Town of Jupiter Parks & Public Works Department will be charging to recover these additional expenses. Cleaning requirements will be enforced
more readily than in the past and deductions will be assessed and
charged by the Parks & Public
Works Department. If you
clean the facility according to your lease agreement, page 6 (2012/2013
Lease) you should have no issues.
- Added the option of paying the Security Deposit by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX). **A $25 processing fee will be assessed to the security deposit refund. If you pay cash you will not be charged this processing fee.
- No rental equipment of any kind will be permitted inside the facility or on the grounds. This includes portable a/c units, bounce houses, tables, chairs, etc.)
- Combined Page 1 & Page 4 of old lease to Page 1 of new lease. All contact/rental dates, hours/business information will be located on page 1. You will only need to turn in page 1 of the new Civic Center lease. Please keep pages 2-6 for your records and reference.

Effective immediately…It has been determined that the use of
portable cooling or heating units at the Civic Center is in violation of several
building and fire safety codes therefore this practice will not be permitted at
the Civic Center. Violators will run the
risk of having their event immediately shut down as well as the sponsoring
business being prohibited from future rentals. This includes all currently booked reservations for 2012.
- Carlin Park is managed by Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and throughout the year Palm Beach County permits large events that impact parking throughout the Carlin Park area. The applicant accepts this as a known risk in renting the Jupiter Civic Center. Please see Civic Center lease for more information.
- Civic Center security deposit refunds can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks. When returning keys, please confirm with staff the name & address of the person who should be receiving the security deposit refund.

- 2013 Civic Center Reservations will be accepted beginning Thursday, June 14, 2012 @ 8:30 AM, Jupiter Community Center, 200 Military Trail, west of the Jupiter Police Station/Town Hall Complex. The lease is currently being revised and will be posted as soon as the revisions are approved, hopefully by Friday, May 18, 2012. Please do not use the current Civic Center lease for any 2013 reservations. You will need to have all your paperwork completed in order to reserve a date. See "How to Make a Reservation" web page for details.
- Weddings at the Jupiter Lighthouse: The Loxahatchee River Historical Society operates and administers the Jupiter Lighthouse and all proceeds from the ceremonies benefit the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.
