Your Neighborhood May Be Eligible for Money!
Applications for the 2012 Town of Jupiter Neighborhood Grants will be available online the first week of February, 2012 and will be due March 23, 2012. A workshop to discuss the grant criteria will be held on February 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jupiter Community Center. Communities who send at least one representative to the workshop will receive an additional 10 points towards their application. HOA property managers representing a community will NOT receive the bonus points. Communities that were awarded a Matching or Distress Grant within the previous three years are not eligible to apply in 2012.
Communities will be able to apply for two different grants:
Community Building, $250
Create, diversify, or increase participation in a community, neighborhood-based association or organization that benefits the neighborhood (communities are allowed to submit applications for this grant along with a neighborhood improvement grant).
Neighborhood Improvement, $1,000 - $5,000 (1 for 1 community match required)
A combination of cash and in-kind support will be accepted. Maximum in-kind contribution will 50% of the community’s portion of the grant; a minimum of 50% financial support is required. To download Application Forms, CLICK HERE. For more information, please call (561) 741-2278.
