See the chart below. You may be eligible to receive help paying your Florida Power & Light Utility bill. If at least one household member is 55 or older and your income and household size is:
Increase by $467.50 monthly or $5,610 annually for each additional household member.
Home Energy Documentation is Required:
- Florida Power & Light (FPL) Utility Bill (nothing torn off).
- Proof of Income for all household members for 2010 (Example: Social Security/Pension, VA/Retirement Award Letters, three pay stubs if employed. 1099 is not acceptable).
- Photo I.D. for all household members 18 years and older (Example: Driver's License, Florida I.D., Palm Tran connection I.D.).
- Social Security cards for all household members.
- If a resident of Section 8 or Public Housing, please provide Utility Allowance Reimbursement.
