The primary function of the business registration is to register business physically located or doing business within the Town of Jupiter (Town) corporate limits. A business registration is a tax receipt which is required of all business located in the Town. It has evolved into a "knowledge broker," connecting businesses with prospective clients through an elaborate referral program. In line with this charge and the other duties assigned to the OSBA by the legislation, the OSBA is reaching out to small businesses in the state through a series of Small Business Issues Forums to discover the concerns of small business owners in the current economic situation and to explore solutions that may be implemented on a state level to aid in small business success.
