Our primary function is to register businesses and professions physically located or doing business within the Town of Jupiter corporate limits.  A Business Tax Receipt, formally called an Occupational License, is a tax collected by the Town from all businesses located in the Town or doing business within the Town of Jupiter corporate limits.

In January 2007, the Florida Legislature changed the name of "Occupational Licenses" to Local Business Tax Receipts.  The local business tax receipt is a separate tax assessed to businesses within/or doing business within the Town of Jupiter in addition to any state or county license fees that may apply.

We are encouraging Jupiter businesses to create a MASTER ACCOUNT as it will streamline the renewal process and automatically add your business (providing it is an incorporated Jupiter business) to the FREE ONLINE BUSINESS DIRECTORY.

In order to create a master account you will need to have the following:

1. A valid e-mail address
   
2. Town of Jupiter Business Tax Receipt/Registration Number
   
3. PIN # (located on your renewal notice)
